Find the date in the grid and look up to the top of its column for the day. A week later is the same column, one row down: add 7.

Watch for: Starting the count from the first column instead of the 1st. Forgetting that after Saturday comes Sunday. Adding 1 instead of 7 for a week later.
At home: Mark birthdays and holidays on a wall calendar and ask what day each falls on, and what date is a week later.
