Watch for: Reading the next hour when the hour hand is only close to it. Writing the number the minute hand points at, like 3 for 15 minutes. Mixing up the hour and minute hands.
At home: Ask your child to read a clock with hands a few times a day, and say whether it's a.m. or p.m.
