What makes a shape that shape: number of sides and corners, closed or open. Color, size and which way it's turned don't matter.

Count the straight sides and corners. A shape with 3 sides is a triangle, however big or tilted. Every closed shape with exactly 4 straight sides counts, even slanted ones.
Watch for: Skipping a shape because it's tilted or very small. Circling a shape with a curved side or a gap as a triangle. Circling only squares and rectangles, not other 4-sided shapes.
At home: Go on a shape hunt around the house. For each find, count the sides and corners together.
