Watch for: Giving some groups more than others. Reading 12 ÷ 3 backwards, as 3 ÷ 12. Answering with the number of groups instead of how many are in each.
At home: Share snacks or cards fairly and say it as a division: 12 grapes shared by 3 people is 12 ÷ 3 = 4 each.
