Watch for: Looking at the digit in the rounded place instead of the one just to its right. Rounding up past a 9 wrongly: 3.96 to the nearest tenth is 4.0, not 3.10. Rounding twice: 7.249 to the nearest tenth is 7.2, not 7.25 and then 7.3.
