Watch for: Skipping one of the numbers in a long column. Carrying 1 when the ones add to 20 or more and it should be 2. Writing the whole ones total, like 14, under the ones column.
At home: Add up a few prices from a menu or a flyer, rounded to whole dollars. Look for two that make an easy ten first.
