Look at the sides and corners, not the size or tilt. A square has 4 equal sides and 4 square corners, even when it's tipped onto a point.
Watch for: Not calling a turned square a square because it looks like a diamond. Circling a long, thin rectangle as a square. Skipping small squares because they look too little.
At home: Hunt for shapes around the house: windows, plates, slices of toast. Turn a cracker and ask if it's still the same shape (it is).
